Carol Campos, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a child, when her father enrolled her and her brother in a Jiu-Jitsu academy to learn Self-Defense. Competing since a young age, Carol Campos has many important titles in the sport. Some of her most important titles include a World Championship title as a Purple Belt, Brazilian National Champion titles both in Gi and No-Gi as a Blue Belt, Pan-American Silver and Bronze Medalist, as well as several IBJJF Open medals.
After receiving her Black Belt in 2023 at the hands of her husband and also Progresso Jiu Jitsu Instructor, Davi Cabral, she started competing in MMA, and is currently 1-1 as an amateur. Carol Campos teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to both kids and adults, as well as Muay Thai Kickboxing classes.
