PROGRESSO JIU JITSU PROGRAMS

We offer a series of different Programs, to make sure that there is a class that fits every student’s age and skill-level. We’ve made a description of each Program, so that you know what to expect when showing up for class.

We offer classes for both adults and kids of all skill-levels and ages starting from 4 years old and up.  Whether your goal is competition, improving your fitness or learning self-defense, we have a program that will help you achieve your goals.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals

This class is for students aged 14 years and up and has a duration of 1 hour. The class is designed to introduce new students to the fundamental techniques and concepts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but more advanced students will also benefit from doing the class.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Advanced

This class is for students aged 14 years and up and has a duration of 1 hour. The techniques in the class will be more advanced than those of the Fundamentals program, but beginners will be able to do the class as well.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids 4-7

This class is for students aged 4 to 7 years and has a duration of 45 min. The students will learn fundamental Jiu Jitsu techniques for both self-defense and competition. The students will develop their physical skills such as balance, coordination and strength, as well as their cognitive skills, concentration, focus, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids 8-13

This class is for students aged 8 to 13 years and has a duration of 1 hour. The students will learn fundamental Jiu Jitsu techniques for both self-defense and competition, and will be introduced to more advanced techniques as well. The students will develop their physical skills such as balance, coordination and strength, as well as their cognitive skills, concentration, focus, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.

No-Gi

This class is for students aged 14 years and up and has a duration of 1 hour. The class is for all levels and will include both basic and advanced techniques. Instead of the traditional gi, students will wear shorts and tshirt/rash-guard.

Live Training

This class is for students aged 14 years and up and has a duration of 30 min. The class is an extension of the regular class, where students will have the opportunity to do extra rounds of sparring, or live training as we call it. 

Kickboxing

This class is for students aged 12 years and up and has a duration of 45 min. The focus of the class is on teaching the students correct kicking and punching technique and how to put together combinations, their speed and and their footwork. New students won't be doing any sparring, but more advanced students will have the opportunity to do light, technical sparring.

Combat Conditioning

This class is for students aged 12 years and up. It has a duration of 45 min and is open for students of all skill levels. The class is a HIIT, circuit training style workout, where students work their speed, cardio and strength endurance using bodyweight exercises and different types of equipment such as kettlebells, battle ropes, airdyne bike, speed ladders, medicine balls, etc.

Open Mat

This class is for students aged 14 years and up and has a duration of 1 hour and 30 min. There will be no instruction in this class, the students will drill techniques of their own choosing, and then they will do rounds of live training. This class is the only class where non-members are free to join (with invitation from a members only).

Private Lessons

We offer private lessons for Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and Conditioning for both kids and adults. Contact us to learn more about the different options that we offer.
