Davi Cabral, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, started his Martial Arts journey already in kindergarten when he started practicing Judo. He later did Muay Thai, and in 2010 at 11 years old, he started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In 2020 he was awarded his Black Belt from the hands of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend, Julio Cesar Pereira – founder and leader of GF Team, and is currently a 1st Degree Black Belt.
Davi Cabral is a world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete with many important titles in the sport. As a Black Belt, some of his most important titles include Pan-American No-Gi and South American No-Gi Champion, and 3x Pan-American Bronze Medalist. He ranked 9th in the IBJJF World No-Gi Ranking for the 2022 Season, and has over a period of a few years consistently ranked between the Top 10 athletes in the world in his division, both Gi and No-Gi. He and has over 25 Gold Medals from IBJJF Opens as a Black Belt. and has medaled at all the 4 major IBJJF Grand Slam tournaments as a colored belt – European Championship, Pan-American Championship, Brazilian National Championship and World Championship. He is now focused on his MMA-career where he is currently undefeated, he is 1-0 as an amateur and 3-0 as a professional – all 4 wins coming by way of finishes.
Besides being a high-level competitor, Davi Cabral has a passion for teaching Martial Arts and loves spending time on the mat with his students. He teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to both kids and adults, as well as Muay Thai Kickboxing classes.
