Progresso Jiu Jitsu Plano is a world-class Martial Arts academy located in Plano, Texas, specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. The academy, located on Custer Road in Plano, Texas, was the first Progresso Jiu Jitsu location to open, opening its doors in October 2020.
The over 6,500 sf facility includes over 3,200 sf of training area; 2,000 sf of Jiu Jitsu mat area, and a 1,200 sf Muay Thai Kickboxing mat, with heavy bags, focus mitts and thai pads, as well as equipment for strength and conditioning like jump ropes, kettlebells, speed ladder, medicine ball, Elliptical machine and Airdyne bike. The amenities include free parking, complimentary wifi, lounge area, kids area with toys, ample seating for parents, and men’s and women’s locker rooms with shower facilities.
We have students of all ages, from kids to students well into their 50’s and 60’s, our school is for everyone. We’re proud of having a strong female team, with a lot of women in our classes. We have world-renowned instructors and have had students winning medals in their divisions at the Pan-American and World Championship as well as competing in the UFC, but while some of our students enjoy testing themselves in competition from time to time, the main goal for us create a class format where everyone can participate and enjoy the training, regardless of their age, fitness and experience level.
