Less screen time. More real life.

Get them off the screen.
Into something real.

If screens are replacing movement, friendships, focus or confidence, give your child somewhere better to put that energy. At Progresso, Kids Jiu-Jitsu turns after-school time into movement, problem-solving, teamwork and progress they can actually feel.

02 / More Connection

Real teammates. Real friendships.

03 / More Confidence

Help them stand taller.

Through challenge, discipline and practical self-defense, children learn that they can stay calm and handle hard moments.

Confidence without aggression

Help your child stand up to bullying without becoming a bully.

Bullying can make a child feel trapped, powerless or afraid to speak up. Jiu-Jitsu gives kids a safer framework: stay aware, use a strong voice, create distance, look for a way out and ask an adult for help. If physical contact cannot be avoided, they practice control-based skills designed to protect themselves without turning the situation into a fight.

03

Calm Under Pressure

Practice thinking, breathing and making decisions while someone is applying controlled resistance.

04

05

Escapes + Protection

Build practical skills for creating space, escaping common holds and protecting themselves safely.

06

Control-Based Self-Defense

Use leverage and positional control as a last resort, with restraint rather than unnecessary aggression.

Questions parents ask

Before your child steps onto the mat.

They do not need to be athletic, outgoing or experienced. The goal is to help them develop from where they are now.

Progresso offers Kids Jiu-Jitsu from age three and up. Younger students use a playful approach, while older children move into increasingly structured technical training.

Jiu-Jitsu does not magically eliminate screens. It gives your family a compelling offline activity that adds movement, social interaction, challenge and routine to the week.

Partner drills and class routines give children clear, low-pressure reasons to interact with teammates instead of expecting them to socialize without direction.

The emphasis is on control, respect, safe training and calm decision-making. Children learn that self-defense skills come with responsibility.
